Mars Attacks is a science fiction trading card series created by Topps in 1962. The cards depict a fictional Martian invasion of Earth, with gruesome and humorous scenes of destruction and chaos. The series became known for its graphic and violent imagery, which caused controversy at the time of its release and resulted in the cards being banned in several countries.
